I chose colours that reflect the cafe's brand values. Its primary colors are deep green (#366b66) and soft green (#7eb693), symbolizing sustainability, with earthy brown (#625136) adding warmth. I used Yeseva One for headers and Rosario for body text to create a stylish yet friendly atmosphere. This combination creates a stylish and friendly website.
Throughout the case study, I learned how to develop branding, from creating a logo to designing an entire site, based on a fictional client's business proposal. I discovered how effective and efficient it is to set variables and how crucial it is to adhere to design principles for branding. I used variables and set minimum and maximum widths to design a responsive web layout. Principles like consistency, proximity, hierarchy, and white space significantly enhanced the overall design and branding.
